Summary
Kevin has experience across investment banking, principal investing, venture capital, and company building. He supports Paralign’s client-partners in evaluating, structuring, and executing strategic transactions, including Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) transactions, mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, and recapitalizations. Kevin brings detailed financial analysis, transaction experience, and an operating perspective to each engagement. He seeks to understand each business, its people, and the objectives that matter most, helping develop thoughtful, tailored solutions and carry them through execution. As the son and grandson of equipment salesmen, utility contractors, engineers, and farmers, Kevin cares deeply about helping business owners carry forward what they have built.
Experience
Before joining Paralign, Kevin was an Associate at Navitas Capital, a leading early-stage venture capital firm investing in vertical AI technologies for the built world. At Navitas, he sourced and evaluated prospective investments, supported portfolio companies, and contributed to portfolio monitoring, investor engagement, and broader firm initiatives.
Previously, Kevin spent more than four years at ButcherJoseph & Co., where he advised privately held and family-owned businesses on transactions representing more than $2.0 billion in aggregate value. His experience included ESOP transactions, sell-side mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital raises, recapitalizations, and principal investments. While at ButcherJoseph, Kevin was named a 2023 Emerging Leader by The M&A Advisor.
Kevin also co-founded Kolanut Capital, a mission-driven agribusiness in Kenya that began in Princeton University’s Keller Center eLab incubator. As CFO and a board member, he helped build, finance, and oversee the business.
Education & Credentials
Kevin received an A.B. in Philosophy from Princeton University. While at Princeton, he was a four-year starter on the varsity wrestling team, an NCAA qualifier, and a First-Team All-Ivy selection.
Personal
Originally from upstate New York, Kevin lives in Santa Monica, California, with his wife, Kira, and their son, West. Outside of work, he enjoys reading and writing, watching movies, staying active, and developing creative and entrepreneurial concepts.
