Summary

Nate has provided comprehensive and unbiased strategic corporate financial advice and transaction structuring and execution services for more than seven years. Areas of emphasis and expertise include corporate finance and investment banking services, strategic alternatives analysis, M&A sale transactions, capital raises, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) transactions, valuation, and cash flow modeling. Nate deploys his technical financial acumen in a pragmatic, results-driven manner in pursuit of tremendous outcomes for his client-partners.

Experience

Prior to joining Paralign, Nate was a Vice President at Chartwell Financial Advisory, where he led the day-to-day execution of a diverse array of mandates including strategic ownership alternatives evaluation, the exploration and execution of debt and equity capital raises, sell-side M&A and ESOP transactions, and the design and implementation of equity compensation plans. Previous roles and areas of expertise include valuation and fairness and solvency opinion advisory services primarily related to ESOP transactions. Nate is an active member of the National Center for Employee Ownership and the ESOP Association.

Additionally, he presently serves on the Board of Directors of D.P. Nicoli, Inc., the largest steel plate and shoring rental provider on the west coast, and a 100% ESOP-owned company.

Education & Credentials

Nate attended the Curtis L. Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business with a Double Major in Finance and Accounting. He is registered with FINRA and holds Series 63 and 79 securities licenses.

Personal

Nate enjoys hiking, going to the beach, and trying new restaurants with his girlfriend, Stephanie, in Orange County, California, as well as visiting friends and family in his home state of Minnesota, where he enjoys fishing, hunting, and generally being outdoors.
