Michael’s background spans investment banking, valuation services and financial planning and analysis (FP&A) providing sell-side M&A transaction execution, financial modeling, valuation, presentation preparation, and financial reporting and analysis. With a broad background of financial services experience, Michael is well equipped to provide clients and partners with differentiated advice and favorable results.

Experience

Before joining Paralign, Michael was a Senior Analyst at Deloitte Corporate Finance, where he provided sell-side M&A advisory services for middle market companies in the industrials sector. Michael began his investment banking career at BMO Capital Markets in their SPAC Advisory Group. Prior to moving into investment banking, he worked at Duff & Phelps (now known as Kroll) in the firm’s Portfolio Valuation Practice, where he provided valuation services of illiquid assets to the alternative investment community. Michael began his career at Paysafe in their Finance and Accounting team.

Education & Credentials

Michael attended Union College where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He is registered with FINRA and holds SIE, Series 63, and Series 79 securities licenses.

Personal

Michael recently relocated to Minneapolis after working in Charlotte, North Carolina and Dallas, Texas. In his free time, he enjoys working out, watching sports, cooking, and visiting his family and friends in Montreal, Canada (though he appreciates the difference between chips and fries, and doesn’t require gravy on either).
